Running for an upcoming cooperation

Find below an article published in the GESI Newsletter#2 -July 2017:

»We, a team composed of four European Studies students, participated successfully in the Team relay run (10 km) at the Leipzig RUNiversität 2017 and were finally ranked 6th in the competition. This university run, which is organised by the faculty of sport science, takes place once a year. The special thing is that we started as the EEGA-Campus-Team and not as the GESI-Team. The Leibniz ScienceCampus »Eastern Europe – Global Area« (EEGA) is committed to developing new research perspectives on Eastern Europe, engaging in knowledge exchange activities on the region with stakeholders, and promoting young researchers. For the future, there are cooperation programmes planned between the GESI and the EEGA Science Campus from which, in my opinion, the students will certainly benefit.
