DGO Annual Conference 2022

The annual conference of the German Association for East European Studies (DGO) will take place in Bonn on 16 and 17 June 2022. You can find the draft programme here.

The focus will be on the war in Ukraine. Together with international experts the attendees will talk about „War in Europe. Political, economic and social consequences“. The historical caesura that the Russian attack undoubtedly represents is just as much a topic as the foreign policy consequences of the clash of political ideas of order and the effects of the war on the economy, security and society throughout Europe. Among others, Angelina Davydova, Nadia Koval, Jörn Leonhard, Kateryna Mishchenko and Petr Zahradník will discuss.

If it is not possible for you to attend on site in Bonn, you can also participate online. You can register via the link below. For better planning, the organisers ask for feedback by 5 June.
