DGO Support Programme Belarus

Numerous students and academics have taken part in the protests against the obviously falsified results of the presidential elections in August this year. Many of them were exmatriculated, dismissed, arrested, fined or otherwise harassed.

To support these people, the DGO has launched a Belarus support programme. The programme awards three-month scholarships to students and three-month fellowships to academics in and from Belarus. Axel Honneth and Karl Schlögel have taken over the patronage of the programme.
