Research interests:
Pre-modern Chinese literature and literary aesthetics, intellectual transformation of China since late 19th century, Chinese modernization in cross-cultural perspective, general issues of transdiciplinarity in humanities and social sciences. Olga Lomová also regularly comments on contemporary Chinese politics and ideology, with special focus on Chinese contacts with Eastern and Central Europe, and is a co-founder of Sinopsis, a Czech website dedicated to this topic (https://sinopsis.cz/).
