Interview with Affiliate Researcher Bettina Bruns on “Citizen Soldiers”

Recently appeared an interview with our affiliate researcher Bettina Bruns on the topic “Citizen Soldiers” within the  Leibniz Magazine.

Russian aggression against Ukraine is stoking fears in many places. Concerns about an expansion of the war are particularly high in Poland. There, the number of people who associate patriotism with a willingness to defend their country militarily is growing, says  BETTINA BRUNS of the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography. In a research project, the sociologist is currently investigating current militarization trends in Polish civil society.
