Research Project: Economic and Welfare Impacts of an Ukraine-EU Partnership: The Case of Agri-food Sectors
Assoc. Prof. Tetiana Galetska specializes in market transformation of the transition economies. Her academic interests include financial markets of transition economies, investments, financial services and leasing, SME access to finance. She holds a PhD in economics and management of enterprises from the Lviv State Agrarian University (2009). Currently, she occupies a position of an Associate Professor and works at the Department of Economic Theory, Management and Marketing (the Faculty of Economics) at one of the leading universities of Ukraine – The National University of Ostroh Academy.
During her post-doctoral years, she received fellowships from Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and research (2018), DAAD (2017), European Commission (Erasmus Mundus Electra programme) (2013-2014), Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (2011).
She has been conducting scientific research on different themes for her entire working career, and she has published more than 80 articles in professional journals and conference proceedings.
During her stay at EEGA, she develops the proposed research project, which seeks to analyze and quantify the economic and welfare effects of the EU- Ukraine’s Partnership with a focus on agri-food sectors. Special attention will be devoted to the analysis of trade determinants of agricultural and agri-food products between Ukraine, EU and other major trade partners, and to examine the welfare and economic impacts of EEP under different policy scenarios.
